We believe families deserve to know exactly what to expect — financially and logistically. Here is everything you need to know about deposits, billing, and policies at Quality Care.
Holding a room. A one-time, non-refundable community fee of $1,295 secures a room for up to 15 days while your family completes arrangements — giving you time to prepare without worrying about losing the placement.
Monthly billing. Rent is due by the 10th of each month. A late fee of $30 applies after that date, and a $50 fee is charged for returned checks.
Medical services & medications. Any medical services or medications not covered by Medicare, Medicaid, or other insurance are the responsibility of the resident or their family. We’ll help coordinate, but coverage varies by individual plan.
Personal items. Personal hygiene products and clothing remain the responsibility of the resident or their family. We’re happy to help coordinate regular deliveries.
Transportation. We coordinate medical appointments and transport arrangements on your behalf. Costs not covered by Medicare or insurance are the responsibility of the resident or family.
Notice to relocate. If a resident chooses to move to another facility, we ask for 14 days’ written notice to the administrator so we can ensure a smooth transition.
Emergency evacuation. We maintain a DHEC-approved emergency evacuation plan. Families may collect their loved one themselves, or opt into our managed evacuation for a fee of $995 per event — covering transport, temporary accommodation, and continued care.
